Fine catalyst particles, typically less than 1 micron in size, have a tendency to pile up in areas of flow separation and then form deposits. The rotor assembly is also subjected to catalyst build up during operation. Rotor disc deposits can form on the faces of the disc. The Pneumix model A – expander cleaner has been designed to semi- automatic inject the abrasive (walnut shells) into the process (flue gas) to clean these areas which increases the life time of your units.
The investment of the acquisition of the expander cleaner is paid back within 1 year due to the decrease in costs of manually cleaning the fine particles.
